Hello, Again
My journey to where I am today started earlier than most. I attended a magnet highschool for engineering, with a focus in computer engineering. In my junior year, I secured an internship at a company that specializes in commercial pipe and duct installation and fabrication. I was trained in 3D BIM modeling and learned I have an innate talent for it. Since then I have been gaining hands-on industry experience, which has afforded me the opportunity to work on, and even spearhead, some major projects, and I've gained a wealth of knowledge along the way.
My Story
With nearly a decade of dedicated work experience, I've achieved some significant milestones in my career. My journey has encompassed both company roles and contract work, providing me with a comprehensive perspective on the field. I've navigated a diverse work environment, toggling between in-office collaboration with large teams and remote project management, where I've honed my time management and virtual coordination skills.
My primary focus has been on commercial projects, including impactful contributions to hospitals and military bases. I've also had the privilege of serving major private clients, such as the Augusta National Golf Club. In the past two years, I've also expanded my horizons into residential work, which has afforded me fresh insights into my craft.
I maintain a fervent commitment to staying at the forefront of industry-standard technology, and hold continuing curiosity about the industry's evolving landscape. Recently, I've embarked on the journey of learning to integrate my work into Augmented and Virtual Reality, recognizing their potential as the future of BIM Modeling. I'm also eager explore sustainable practices and eco-friendly concepts into my models, in hopes of making a positive impact on the future of our environment.
I relish the opportunity to connect and collaborate with new people, because I believe that the best ideas are often born through diverse perspectives and collaborative efforts. I look forward to creating something exceptional, together.
