Summerville Medical Center

This project encompassed the expansion and renovation of the existing medical center, aimed at accommodating a new pharmacy, laboratory, and dietary wing. My role as a BIM Specialist played a critical part in facilitating not only the new construction but also in seamlessly integrating these additions with the existing plumbing and duct systems. Additionally, the project presented the unique challenge of a tight timeline, with just three weeks for completion. Amidst these constraints, an unexpected development emerged at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic- the urgent need to incorporate isolation rooms. My adaptability and expertise were put to the test as we swiftly responded to this critical demand, showcasing my agility in the face of unforeseen challenges.
