Spanning 30,000 square feet, this project serves as the headquarters for two local news stations and hosts five of their affiliated programs. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and top-notch amenities, this facility empowers journalists and broadcasters with the essential tools needed to deliver vital information to the local community with unparalleled efficiency. As the lead BIM Specialist for this project, I navigated the multi-faceted challenges of coordination required by such a customized project. The sleek, modern design left little room for the intricacies of MEP work, which all had to be carefully planned and condensed into inconspicuous spaces. Every facet encompassed within the typical realm of MEP modeling still proved crucial in this endeavor, as the facility accommodates a wide range of functions, including office spaces, an on-site gym, a kitchen facility, and a sprawling broadcasting center.
