Columbia County Performing Arts Center

This project was the new construction of an 85,000 square foot facility that. Though primarily a performing center, the facility is outfitted to accommodate a vast range of artistic endeavors, making it a community center. The incredible scale of this project presented its share of challenges. One notable aspect was the responsibility of modeling all ductwork for this vast, open, acoustically important space; this task fell squarely on my shoulders. My role was pivotal as a BIM Specialist in ensuring safety, as I meticulously planned and integrated over 80 fire dampers into the design, ensuring their precise and proper placement within the facility. This undertaking underscored the importance of meticulous planning and coordination, reinforcing the critical role of BIM technology in complex projects like this.
